Stage Wine Bar is located in the heart of Fernwood; a vibrant, culturally diverse and ecclectic community just minutes from downtown Victoria. A few doors down from the Belfry Theatre, come by Stage and enjoy some pre or post show tapas and spirits. If you're driving, parking is available at Victoria High School front and back lots. You can also park on some of the surroundings side streets, but if you park on Gladstone Avenue, you will get a ticket!
...we followed with 4 tapas, the Cortez mussels, cheeks & frites, duck confit and crispy pork belly with maple beans. We were quite happy with all the selections. The cheeks and frites stood out especially. We began sampling everything on the plate individually and it was quite nice, but once we got a couple frites, a nibble of cheeks and some aioli all at the same time, it was just heaven. honest to god eyes rolling back heaven...
